Our 2007-2008 season was a very rewarding one.  We enjoyed singing with the Raging Grannies for UNICEF and for WILPF, as well as our annual Fast for a World Harvest event for Oxfam and our annual service for the Watsonville homeless shelter.  We worked hard all year long on some of the lesser-known and many popular songs of a great hero of ours, Pete Seeger.  This work culminated in our annual concert on May 17, 2008 with a choral tribute to Pete, which was a benefit for Santa Cruz County's emergency homeless services.  The concert was a huge success, both musically & financially!  Thanks to all who came to listen, sing, and lend a hand!  See you next year.  In the meantime, you will find us at local, regional & national peace vigils and working for peace & justice however we can.  Next year's Chorale season begins in September.
