April 27: New Music Works, Night of the Living Composers


May 4: Santa Cruz Baroque Festival 2008 presents A Baroque Beatles Experience, featurnig the Chamber Choir of Georgiana Bruce Kirby School.

May 11: Monterey Symphony. Max Bragado-Darman, conductor; Ginger Kroft Barnetson, clarinet. Fanfare; Joan Tower, Clarinet Concerto; Rachmaninoff, Symphony No. 2.

M ay 18: Santa Cruz County Symphony. The Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus joins the orchestra in Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms and Polovtsian Dances by Borodin. Also on the program: Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland, Serenade to Music by Vaughan Williams; and Escales by Ibert.

May 25: Santa Cruz Chamber Players presents "Saints, Sinners, and Sassing Bach," for saxophone, flute and piano.


June 1: Live radio auction

June 15: Monterey Symphony. Max Bragado-Darman, conductor; Female voices of the Monterey Symphony Chorus; Debussy, Nocturnes; Mahler, Symphony No. 1.

June 22: Chamber Music Monterey Bay presents the Juilliard String Quartet in a program of works by Haydn, Shostakovich and Beethoven.


July 6: Carmel Bach Festival 2007 "Best of the Fest." Recorded in 2007 as the final concert of the season, the audience has requested these encores.

July 13: Carmel Bach Festival 2007 Friday Concert presents the Festival Orchestra in symphonies of JCF Bach, Haydn (#102) and Beethoven (#8). Bruno Weil conducts.

July 20: Carmel Bach Festival 2007 "Romantic Twilight" concert presents members of the Festival Orchestra in nonets for strings and winds by Clementi and Spohr.

July 27: Carmel Bach Festival 2008 Opening Night, recorded 8 pm the night before. Mass in b minor by J.S. Bach.


August 3: Carmel Bach Festival Sunday choral concert. J.S. Bach, Cantata 21 and Brahms, A German Requiem.

August 10: Carmel Bach Festival Thursday concert. J.S. Bach, The Six Brandenburg Concertos.

August 17: Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music

August 24: Carmel Bach Festival Monday concert

August 31: Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music


September 7: Monterey Symphony. Daniel del Pino performs the Concerto No. 2 by Chopin. Max Bragado-Darman and the orchestra perform Hebrides Overture by Mendelssohn, and Symphony No. 3 "Eroica" by Beethoven.


October 12: Santa Cruz Chamber Players presents "Asian Travels", music by Bright Sheng, Zou Long, Rebecca Clarke, and others.


December 14: Santa Cruz Baroque Festival 2008 presents Iberian Flare!
