Referred to by Atom variously as his vision of an "Armenian princess" and his "sleeping muse", Arsinée Khanjian has been featured in each one of his films. First scouted by Atom while she was rehearsing an Armenian theatrical production in Montreal, Arsinée was cast in Next of Kin. Upon the release of that first work, they became a couple, and Atom and Arsinée have been partners in art and life ever since. Born in Beirut, Arsinée emigrated to Canada with her family at the age of seventeen.
