Evaluations, Determination and a Recommendation

These items are arranged in chronological order:

  1. Early in the summer of 1982 I took, Organic Cemistry 8B. My evaluation for that class illustrates the expectations and standards that I met everyday. It was (and is) not unreasonable to expect help that would allow me to acheive similar results as a disabled student.

  2. Later in the summer of 1982, I ran from Tuolumne Meadows to Yosemite Valley over Vogelsang pass. I have included an account of that day of reckless fortitude HERE. The run is indicative of my drive and love of life. The final mile was pretty tough, but we did it.

  3. I have had experience with capable lab assitance once. My evaluation for Biochemistry lab was due to her expertise and my direction. I be expected her to be meticulous when she was in lab. I was able to focus on how to best achieve new goals and did not have to divert my attention to teach her rudimentary lab techniques.
