I have a broad background in the wireless industry, from wireless (services) management, to RF parts procurement, RF Engineering Technician, through SR Level RF Microwave Technician. This position would have a focus on enabling Engineering and Manufacturing to achieve a quality product. Other possible positions could include: Manufacturing (sustaining), Component, Applications, Test, Field Service, or Quality Engineer.

Senior Microwave Electronics Technician, (February - April, 2000): Troubleshot, debugged, and repaired of RF (microwave), analog circuits (such as; PLL, Up-converter, I.F. Amp, power amplifier and switcher power supplies.), to the component level, for production units failing burn-in and test. Worked on a (commercial), Microwave (thick-film), 6 GHz (C-Band), up converter/two watt transmitter assembles (satellite ground station).
• Made suggestions to increase production yields.

Senior RF Electronics Technician, (July 1997 – December 1999): Troubleshot, debugged, and repaired RF, analog and digital circuits from the component level to the systems level for; production units failing test, customer returns-for-repair and upgrades (RMA’s), and pre-production/engineering prototypes. Worked on all the boards in a wireless, four-channel T1, 2.4 (S-Band) and 5.7 (C-Band) GHz, direct-sequence spread spectrum radio system. Primarily responsible for the modem, spreader/despreader, power supply/ regulator boards and for the Microwave plate assembly (Deck), and final and burn-in test, debug/repair.

• Created test macros on HP network & spectrum analyzers, to improve test process.
• Made suggestions that improved the quality, and the ability to manufacture and test, the product.
• Updated, and created, test documentation to comply with an ISO-9000 -compliant quality system.
• Trained new personal how to test and troubleshoot the product.

Radio Technician, (March 1997 - June 1997): Repaired, tuned, and tested; Motorola, GE, Uniden, and others. Troubleshot, debugged, and repaired of RF, analog and digital circuits to the component level. Built and turned up, Motorola Repeaters. This included optimizing the radio, diplexer tuning, and controller, to ensure maximum system performance.

• Helped senifagantly increase product yields, from less than 50% pass rate, to more than 90% passing.
• Helped prepare test documentation to comply with an ISO 9000-compliant quality system.
• Helped engineering make improvements on the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and the LabView programs.

• Discovered engineering design error, suggested corrections which resulted in much greater yields.
• Created test macros that added in more accurate and quicker testing.

• Discovered and initiated action to resolve a design defect, this greatly improved production yields.
• Created test macros on Tektronix spectrum analyzer that sped up the testing process.
• Wrote manufacturing documentation and test procedures.
• Used fiber optical arc fusion splicer and optical power meters.
