What is, VHF LOW BAND? (A basic description)


 
VHF-Lo, is 31 to 50 Mhz. This spectrum is usually NBFM, and commercial radio communications, such as (locally) CHP (California Highway Patrol), CalTrans, Red Cross, etc.  More broadly, VHF-Lo, is 29 - 54 Mhz (or up even up to ~85 Mhz) ...  There is two HAM Bands within, 28.0-29.7 and 50.0-54.0 Mhz.
