The decision to rebuild my truck, and what can go wrong??? (and cool 22RTE (Turbo) links) ...

I have Toyota 22RTE (22R=~2400 (2.4)- 4 cylinder gas engine, T=Turbo charged), E=Elecronic ignition, and its a SR-5 (SRT, Dealer use this term?), extra cab, 4x4, truck.

It has almost 330k miles, now (7/29/2004), this isn't really that much, my last car, a 84 Honda Accord LX, had over that, and the car before that, a Plymouth Arrow had, I think had, over 400K (when I bought it from my nabor, it had already flipped (the odometer) past 200k, and I flipped it once, and it just fliped about the time I sold it, so that's way over 400k.).

I just rather spend money fixing whatever, than, ~$500 new car payment, plus insurance, each month (car payments last, how long?;  Jobs last, how long!?) - all this for what?...

The decision to rebuild my 1987 4x4 Toyota turbo truck (22RTE engine), was a difficult one.  I was expecting to spend approximately 3,000 dollars,
total. Including sum performance upgrades.  I was expecting it to take 1 to 2 weeks - Nether turned out to be true...
