Shocking, Just Shocking!

Damn, the morals of our country have slipped even further than anyone could have imagined.

The Christian right predicted this and it has come to fruition.

Does anyone recall Senator John Cornyn's (R-Rex.) spot-on prediction in his prepared remarks for a July 2004 speech to the Heritage Foundation? The prescient Texan forsaw the future if a constitutional ban on same sex marriage was not instituted:

"It does not affect your daily life very much if your neighbor marries a box turtle. But that does not mean it is right. . . . Now you must raise your children up in a world where that union of man and box turtle is on the same legal footing as man and wife."

Give credit where credit is due to the visionary from the Lone Star State.
