First they came... Here's a 'salute' to all the burqa bearers whose warped neediness results in harm to others. Attempts to control not only the behavior of but to outright rule over the lives of others is abominable. Yet such individuals are all around us, having already surfaced in South Dakota, Kansas, many Southern states and, of course, too many countries abroad. This form of slavery may have been officially disavowed here but its insidious relatives have sprouted throughout this country, nurtured by a number of the elite on the right who have no desire to live in such gulags themselves but who benefit politically and financially by paying lip service to such barbarians. With apologies to Martin Niemoeller. First they came for those displaying sexual artistry and I did not speak out--because I am not one who displays such creativity and crafts.top |
