I Strongly Recommend This Web Site
It's yet another Friday and, in lieu of another dollop of humor, I would like to recommend a web site that will be enjoyed by anyone who likes first-rate, in-depth journalism. The site is neither liberal nor conservative--what it features are links to the best of in-depth reporting, on a wide spectrum of subjects, from across the country.
The site is called NEWS GEMS. It can be located at http://www.newsgems.blogspot.com/

The site is run by Jon Marshall out of Wilmette, IL. His self-description: "I am a reporter, writer, teacher and speaker who believes that good journalism is crucial to a thriving democracy. In addition to writing for magazines, newspapers and businesses around the country, I coordinate the Journalism Methods program and teach reporting and writing at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
