Bow Down to the Mullahs
This post writes itself and unfortunately more material is available daily.
President George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
Dear Mr. President:
The
media tells us that you have received the largest number of popular
votes of any president in America's history. Congratulations!
In
your re-election, God has graciously granted Americathough she doesn't
deserve ita reprieve from the agenda of paganism. You have been given
a mandate. We the people expect your voice to be like the clear and
certain sound of a trumpet. Because you seek the Lord daily, we who
know the Lord will follow that kind of voice eagerly.
Don't
equivocate. Put your agenda on the front burner and let it boil. You
owe the liberals nothing. They despise you because they despise your
Christ. Honor the Lord, and He will honor you.
Had your opponent
won, I would have still given thanks, because the Bible says I must (I
Thessalonians 5:18). It would have been hard, but because the Lord
lifts up whom He will and pulls down whom He will, I would have done
it. It is easy to rejoice today, because Christ has allowed you to be
His servant in this nation for another presidential term. Undoubtedly,
you will have opportunity to appoint many conservative judges and
exercise forceful leadership with the Congress in passing legislation
that is defined by biblical norm regarding the family, sexuality,
sanctity of life, religious freedom, freedom of speech, and limited
government. You have four yearsa brief time onlyto leave an imprint
for righteousness upon this nation that brings with it the blessings of
Almighty God.
Christ said, “If any man serve me, let him follow
me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve
me, him will my father honour” (John 12:26).
The student body,
faculty, and staff at Bob Jones University commit ourselves to pray for
youthat you would do right and honor the Savior. Pull out all the
stops and make a difference. If you have weaklings around you who do
not share your biblical values, shed yourself of them. Conservative
Americans would love to see one president who doesn't care whether he
is liked, but cares infinitely that he does right.
Best wishes.
Sincerely your friend,
Bob Jones III

The Daily Oklahoman, Oct. 23rd, 2004...

Dobson warned those attending the Friday afternoon rally at Oklahoma
Christian University that the sanctity of marriage between a man and a
woman must be protected.
He cited examples of countries such as
Norway that have allowed same-sex couples to marry as proof that fewer
men and women get married. Dobson said 80 percent of children are born
out of wedlock in Norway.
“Homosexuals are not monogamous. They want to destroy the institution of marriage,” Dobson said.
“It will destroy marriage. It will destroy the Earth.”
Dobson urged rally attendees to reach out to homosexuals and “bring them to Jesus.”
He also urged supporters in attendance to fast and pray on the Thursday
and weekend before the Nov. 2 election and to go to the polls to elect
JRepublican ames Coburn to the Senate.
Dobson said a vote for
Democrat Brad Carson, “even if you think he’s right,” would be a vote
for U.S. Sen. Tom Daschle, D-S.D.; Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass.; and Sen.
Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont.
“Patrick Leahy is a ‘God’s people’ hater,” Dobson said.
“I don’t know if he hates God, but he hates God’s people.”
Dobson said Coburn was exactly the kind of senator Oklahoma needs.
“I am passionate in my support of Dr. Tom Coburn,” Dobson said.
This man absolutely has to be sent back to Washington.”
Also
on hand to support Coburn, U.S. Rep. Ernest Istook, R-Warr Acres, said
more lawmakers who believe in “the divine origins of the country” are
needed.

Christian Conservatives Must Not Compromise
Voters reject liberalism, an evil ideology.
By
Frank Pastore, Former major league pitcher Frank Pastore is the
afternoon host on the Christian talk-radio station KKLA, 99.5 FM.
Christians,
in politics as in evangelism, are not against people or the world. But
we are against false ideas that hold good people captive. On Tuesday,
this nation rejected liberalism, primarily because liberalism has been
taken captive by the left. Since 1968, the left has taken millions
captive, and we must help those Democrats who truly want to be free to
actually break free of this evil ideology.

Old news but quite telling:
President
Bush has announced his plan to select Dr. W. David Hager to head up the
Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Reproductive Health Drugs Advisory
Committee. The committee has not met for more than two years, during
which time its charter lapsed. As a result, the Bush Administration is
tasked with filling all eleven positions with new members. This
position does not require Congressional approval.
The FDA's
Reproductive Health Drugs Advisory Committee makes crucial decisions on
matters relating to drugs used in the practice of obstetrics,
gynecology and related specialties, including hormone therapy,
contraception, treatment for infertility, and medical alternatives to
surgical procedures for sterilization and pregnancy termination.
Dr. Hager is the author of "As Jesus Cared for Women: Restoring Women
Then and Now." The book blends biblical accounts of Christ healing
women with case studies from Hager's practice. His views of
reproductive health care are far outside the mainstream for
reproductive technology. Dr. Hager is a practicing OB/GYN who describes
himself as "pro-life" and refuses to prescribe contraceptives to
unmarried women.
In the book Dr. Hager wrote with his wife,
entitled "Stress and the Woman's Body," he suggests that women who
suffer from premenstrual syndrome should seek help from reading the
bible and praying. As an editor and contributing author of "The
Reproduction Revolution: A Christian Appraisal of Sexuality
Reproductive Technologies and the Family," Dr. Hager appears to have
endorsed the medically inaccurate assertion that the common birth
control pill is an abortifacient.

I hope the election of George W. Bush is seen as a wake-up call to all the liberal Democrats who oppose God's will.
It is His doing that George W. Bush is still our president. Millions of
born-again Christians helped win this election through our prayers and
votes. Jesus speaks through the Republicans.
The Democrats will
not be able to win elections until they renounce their sinful ways and
stop encouraging abortions, gayness, and trying to take away our guns.

Finally, from the new poster boy of evil, Barack Obama:
I
stand here today, grateful for the diversity of my heritage, aware that
my parents' dreams live on in my precious daughters. I stand here
knowing that my story is part of the larger American story, that I owe
a debt to all of those who came before me, and that, in no other
country on earth, is my story even possible. Tonight, we gather to
affirm the greatness of our nation, not because of the height of our
skyscrapers, or the power of our military, or the size of our economy.
Our pride is based on a very simple premise, summed up in a declaration
made over two hundred years ago, "We hold these truths to be
self-evident, that all men are created equal. That they are endowed by
their Creator with certain inalienable rights. That among these are
life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
That is the true
genius of America, a faith in the simple dreams of its people, the
insistence on small miracles. That we can tuck in our children at night
and know they are fed and clothed and safe from harm. That we can say
what we think, write what we think, without hearing a sudden knock on
the door. That we can have an idea and start our own business without
paying a bribe or hiring somebody's son. That we can participate in the
political process without fear of retribution, and that our votes will
be counted--or at least, most of the time.
This year, in this
election, we are called to reaffirm our values and commitments, to hold
them against a hard reality and see how we are measuring up, to the
legacy of our forbearers, and the promise of future generations. And
fellow Americans--Democrats, Republicans, Independents--I say to you
tonight: we have more work to do. More to do for the workers I met in
Galesburg, Illinois, who are losing their union jobs at the Maytag
plant that's moving to Mexico, and now are having to compete with their
own children for jobs that pay seven bucks an hour. More to do for the
father I met who was losing his job and choking back tears, wondering
how he would pay $4,500 a month for the drugs his son needs without the
health benefits he counted on. More to do for the young woman in East
St. Louis, and thousands more like her, who has the grades, has the
drive, has the will, but doesn't have the money to go to college.
Don't
get me wrong. The people I meet in small towns and big cities, in
diners and office parks, they don't expect government to solve all
their problems. They know they have to work hard to get ahead and they
want to. Go into the collar counties around Chicago, and people will
tell you they don't want their tax money wasted by a welfare agency or
the Pentagon. Go into any inner city neighborhood, and folks will tell
you that government alone can't teach kids to learn. They know that
parents have to parent, that children can't achieve unless we raise
their expectations and turn off the television sets and eradicate the
slander that says a black youth with a book is acting white. No, people
don't expect government to solve all their problems. But they sense,
deep in their bones, that with just a change in priorities, we can make
sure that every child in America has a decent shot at life, and that
the doors of opportunity remain open to all. They know we can do
better. And they want that choice [...]
A belief that we are
connected as one people. If there's a child on the south side of
Chicago who can't read, that matters to me, even if it's not my child.
If there's a senior citizen somewhere who can't pay for her
prescription and has to choose between medicine and the rent, that
makes my life poorer, even if it's not my grandmother. If there's an
Arab American family being rounded up without benefit of an attorney or
due process, that threatens my civil liberties. It's that fundamental
belief--I am my brother's keeper, I am my sisters' keeper--that makes
this country work. It's what allows us to pursue our individual dreams,
yet still come together as a single American family. "E pluribus unum."
Out of many, one.
Yet even as we speak, there are those who are
preparing to divide us, the spin masters and negative ad peddlers who
embrace the politics of anything goes. Well, I say to them tonight,
there's not a liberal America and a conservative America--there's the
United States of America. There's not a black America and white America
and Latino America and Asian America; there's the United States of
America. The pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States
and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats.
But I've got news for them, too. We worship an awesome God in the Blue
States, and we don't like federal agents poking around our libraries in
the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States and have gay
friends in the Red States. There are patriots who opposed the war in
Iraq and patriots who supported it. We are one people, all of us
pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the
United States of America [...]
In the end, that is God's
greatest gift to us, the bedrock of this nation; the belief in things
not seen; the belief that there are better days ahead. I believe we can
give our middle class relief and provide working families with a road
to opportunity. I believe we can provide jobs to the jobless, homes to
the homeless, and reclaim young people in cities across America from
violence and despair. I believe that as we stand on the crossroads of
history, we can make the right choices, and meet the challenges that
face us. America!
