New classes will be starting October 23 and continuing on 10/30, 11/12, 11/27, 12/4, 12/11 from 6:30 to 9:30PM and concluding Saturday December 15th from 9AM to 5PM.

The SLVEN (San Lorenzo Valley Emergency Network) meetings are on the fourth Thursday of the month, 7:00-9:00 pm at Felton Fire (Not Cal Fire).
CPR & First Aid an 8 hour class one Saturday a month - Email Ray to sign-up. We need to retake this class every two years.

Did you know that results from the national survey indicate that 30 percent (+/- 2.6%) of Americans have not prepared because they think that emergency responders will help them and that over 60 percent expect to rely on emergency responders in the first 72 hours following a disaster? This was found in the 2009 Citizen Corps National Survey. It offers comprehensive data on the public’s thoughts, perceptions, and behaviors related to preparedness and community safety for multiple types of hazards.
