Ceramics One Autobiography

The purpose of this assignment is for me to get to know you better and to find out your interests in school and your interests in art. Your autobiography will not be read out loud in class. Your autobiography must be at least one page long and typed. It will be graded on its completeness and if it is turned in on time. Please answer all of the following questions and be sure to write your autobiography in paragraph form. I would also like you to attach a picture of yourself or sketch a picture of yourself, which will be returned with your paper.

Before you start your paper,write a definition of what Art is.

1.What is your main goal for this year in regards to your education and how do you plan to reach that goal?

2.Tell me about your family, brothers and sisters and any other people who live with you. Have any of them been my students? Also do you have any pets?

3.Tell me who your friends are. Who is your best friend and who are the people you hang out with?

4.What do you do on your free time? What was your favorite movie this year?

5.What sports and hobbies do you enjoy? Are you a member of a school club?

6.Why did you take this class? Did someone recommend it? Are you trying to satisfy a requirement? What would you like to make this year?

7.What do you already know about ceramics or have you taken a ceramics course in another school? Have you ever visited an art museum or art gallery?

8. Where do you see yourself five years from now? Are you planning on going to College? What kind of job would you like to have and where would you like to live?

9. If there is anything else you feel you would like to tell me, please include it in your paper.
