Day of the dead project

1. What figure did you make for your Day of the Dead assignment? Write a paragraph describing what it looks like and what it is supposed to be. Also if you made it as a dedication to someone that has passed away tell me a bit about that person and how your figure represents that person.

2. When you look at the display, tell me which three figures stand out as being the best made and tell me why you have chose those three figures.

3. Although you do not have a rubric, if you were using a scale from one to five with five being the best, what number would you give yourself. You should base your selection on :

• How well it is crafted?
• How well it is painted( is it nice and neat or does the painting look a bit sloppy)?
• Is it an original design or simply a copy from one you saw someplace else?
• Did it survive the firing without anything cracking or falling off?
• Are you proud of it and plan to give it to someone you care about?

4.Write a paragraph telling me what number you feel you deserve and why you feel you deserve the number you earned. Be prepared to back up your choice with your work.
