Greetings and congratulations!

We are very much looking forward to your presence at the 8^th Annual Gail Rich Awards. If you have been in attendance at one of the previous Gail Rich Award events, you know that it is a very warm and meaningful community event. It is so wonderful to meet and greet so many diverse representatives of the arts in a single evening.

Below are some details that the planning committee thinks would be helpful for you to know in advance.

Event date: Thursday, January 29

Arrival time: 5:30 pm

Location: Kuumbwa Jazz Center (320 Cedar Street, Santa Cruz)

Close-in parking is limited; you may wish to have a friend

drop you off at Kuumbwa before 5:30.

Here is the schedule for the evening:

5:30 pm Award recipients arrive

(4 seats are reserved for you and your party)

5:40 pm Doors open to the general public

6:00 pm Event begins

• Welcome and Introductions from the Cultural Council

• Presenter introduces each awardee; images are projected

• You are invited make a 1-2 minute statement, if you like

• You will then return to your seat
