Besides being an internationally recognized herbalist, acupuncturist and published author, Michael has pursued an active avocation of many aspects of classical music. He has studied with composition and performance with Leonard Stein, one of the 20<FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Courier New" >th</FONT> century’s leading exponents of contemporary music, especially the music of Arnold Schoenberg. Currently he has been studying with the Polish master pianist, Pawel Skryzpek, who is director of the Chopin Warsaw Music conservatory and the Gold country Piano institute in Nevada City. </div> <div> Michael was the founder and director of the Neo-Renaissance Singers of Los Angeles, the Topanga Old Music Festival, the Spirit choir of Santa Cruz and most recently L’Armonia vocal consort.
