Welcome! Kent, Ilga and Liana vacationed in Hawaii from February 24 until March 8. We discovered that a vacation with a two year old is a lot different than a vacation as just a couple. We only spent one day playing volleyball and one day hiking.The rest of the time was spent building in the sand: tunnels for Thomas the Train and pools near the water's edge, for example.

We got a bit of rain, but that also kept the temperatures very comfortable and gave us a little less sun to worry about with Liana.

Oahu

We spent the first weekend in Oahu visiting the Cotes.

House in Hanalei

We spent the rest of the time in Hanalei, Kauai. We rented a house on the beach.

We managed to go on one hike up the Sleeping Giant.

We came home to Santa Cruz just in time to experience the "snow".
