The Santa Cruz Peace Coalition was formed in response to the 2001 United
States' threat of military assault on Afghanistan.
Concerned citizens and students joined together to protest. The threats
manifested into the reality of death and suffering for many in Afghanistan and
Iraq. We've been protesting and working for peace ever since.
