Welcome
The Santa Cruz Peace Coalition was formed in response to the 2001 United States' threat of military assault on Afghanistan. Concerned citizens and students joined together to protest. The threats manifested into the reality of death and suffering for many in Afghanistan and Iraq. We've been protesting and working for peace ever since.

Announcements

The local chapter of Students Against War (SAW) are actively organizing their people and resources. The took a bus full of people to San Francisco September 24 to support a larger protest against war, militarism and occupation. They also organized a legal rights training Oct. 8-9 with the assistance of the Midnight Special Law Collective.
