Here is a glimpse of the clubs and restaurants where we play.....
CAFÉ RIO:
Café Rio has been a long standing gig for the band. Located " On The Beach " at Rio Del Mar in
Aptos, Café Rio is a quality restaurant and bar. This is an intimate atmosphere, you have to sit
close to the band to get the full effect of the music.
MALONES:
Malones is a restaurant and bar in Scotts Valley, where the band plays outside, on the Patio. A
pleasant place to hear the band in a warm, edge of the redwoods, environment. Full dining is available on the patio, and the afternoon end of the week gig, makes a great place to drop in after work on Friday in Scotts Valley.
IDEAL BAR & GRILL:
The Ideal is a large fine restaurant located on the left, immediately before you enter the Santa
Cruz Wharf. From their huge deck, you can see The Boardwalk, The Beach, and the Wharf. A
good place to hear the band, inside or out. The Sunset Jazz series is a new promotion sponsored
by the Santa Cruz Parks and Rec. and the Ideal. This will be a wonderful spot to sit outside,
enjoy some fine comestibles, and listen to some GREAT music.
THE CATALYST:
The Catalyst has long been a Santa Cruz Icon. This is a good place to hear the band, and we
often feature one or two horn players here. Located on the Pacific Garden Mall, the band plays in the Attrium Room, beautifully tiled, with a glass roof and plants everywhere. Dining, Dancing and Drinking are all available.
THE CROW'S NEST:
The Crow's Nest is another long standing Santa Cruz Icon, located at the mouth of the Yacht Harbor with an outstanding view of the harbor and beaches. Featuring fine dining, great drinks, and dancing to the sounds of India With StraighAhead.
THE WHITE MAGNOLIA RESTAURANT: The White Magnolia, located in the Aptos Village is part of the old Bay View Hotel. The restaurant has just opened and promises to be a Locals Delight. It has a very smart, tasteful, ambiance yet still feels comfortable. The Inn (a separate business) has a turn of the century decor, and is steeped in traditional character. The Inn and Restaurant provide an interesting contrast. The band plays quietly here, in an intimate surrounding.
