SCHEDULE
12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.: SOCIALIZE, set up room, bag lunch (bring goodies to share, if you like).
12:30 p.m.- 2:00 p.m.: PROGRAM:
Bring your questions and announcements. We'll talk about pruning, planting, your favorite varieties of old roses, and any questions you have. We'll discuss upcoming events in California. We'll also try to form a Program Committee to find speakers or events for future meetings.
2:00 p.m. : RAFFLE - Please bring items for the raffle table-- roses, other plants, or rose related books, catalogs, or other items.
Meetings are free and open to everyone. Bring friends. Bring questions. To find the Horticulture Building, go to the UCSC Arboretum on Empire Grade (near Western Drive). Follow the arboretum road, which curves to the right by the gift shop, then to the left up the hill to the Horticulture Building. If you would like to join Heritage Rose Group, or renew
your membership, you may do so at the meeting. Anyone may sell roses or rose related items. 10% of
profits go to Central Coast Heritage Rose Group.

This event takes place on April 25, 2009 by the Heritage Rose Garden in San Jose, Spring and Taylor Sts. There will be plants for sale, and tours of the garden. See their website for more information and map.
This event is held every year on the Sunday after Mother's Day in El Cerrito, California. For 2009, the Celebration is on May 17 at the El Cerrito Community Center.
The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden has been designated as the first inductee to the 'Rose Garden Hall of Fame'. There will be a commemorative event on May 18th at the garden, Spring and Taylor Streets, San Jose. Read about it here: http://greatrosarians.com/weblog/?cat=138
