The home page of this issue of PNG Poetry Online sports a drawing attributed to Leonardo da Vinciwhen it is, in fact, a drawing by one of his students. It is the only remaining fragment of a fresco by the Master that went bad and is lost to history.
Dante Gabriel Rossetti did Persephone in 1874. It graces our Index of Poets page. Rossetti was not only a painterand founder of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhoodbut also a poet of some notoriety.
On the Poet Bios page is a red chalk and charcoal drawing by the great Mexican artist Diego Rivera (1886-l957). It was drawn in 1926, is titled Back of a seated Nude, and resides in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
