The Santa Cruz area is rich in artistic experiences: artists, exhibition spaces, artistic inspiration, and an art loving community. Santa Cruz is located on the Monterey Bay in Northern California. It is about 40 minutes from San Jose and about an hour and a half south of San Francisco. It has beautiful rolling hills, redwood forests, and sandy beaches.
