File Upload Instructions

Once a consulting project has been agreed upon, I will do the following steps to make sure the project is a success.

•

Notify you via e-mail that I have received your files.

•

Unzip and install your application and make sure it runs.

•

Start going through included README.TXT and answer all questions.

•

This continues until either I answer all questions or reach two hours.

•

I will send you a document full of answers and any modified files.

Upload Instructions:

To take advantage of this offer, do the following steps:

Preparation of File(s) To Upload

Create a README.TXT text file with up to two pages of notes and SPECIFIC questions. (NOTE: If I am debugging your application, please include EXACT steps to reproduce problem along with any error messages you receive.)

ZIP up files. ZIP up ALL files needed to run your application along with a README.TXT. (If there are large tables - Query out enough records from the table(s) that will duplicate the problem.)

Test the ZIP file. As a favor to me, please unzip all the files into a temporary directory and test the software to make sure it works at least well enough for me to answer your questions.

Email me the ZIP file. Please limit the file size to 1.5MB. Let me know if there another method to download your files (i.e. your FTP site).

I'll be in contact with you as soon as business allows, usually within one to three working days.
