Healing 1Healing 2Healing 3
Healing potion / pills
Healing pills are available in all of the QFGs. They help to replenish lost health points after a fairly unsuccessful fight with a monster or some other type of painful activity. Fighters should keep many of these handy, while other character types need only a few.
Vigor 1Vigor 2Vigor 3
Vigor potion / pills
Vigor, or stamina, pills and potions are available in every one of the QFG games except for number IV. The water from the pool of peace in QFG 3 acts as a vigor potion and can be stored in waterskins. Good for when you get tired in the middle of a fight or competition, these are very useful. A paladin should buy a bunch of these to power his abilities, and his healing power can be used rather than the potions.
Mana 1Mana 2Mana 3Mana 4
Mana potion / pills
Mana, or magic, pills and potions can be found in all of the QFG games. These are a must have for any wizard, for he will find himself defenseless if his mana points run out. Though there aren't actually mana potions in QFG IV, the fruit from Erana's Garden does the same thing and can be picked via the fetch spell once a day.
Poison cure
Poison cure pills
Poison cure pills are in only QFG 2,3, and 5. In QFG I there are no poisonous monsters for the pills to protect against and in QFG IV the river water in Erana's Garden cures poison. However, this water cannot be carried with the hero.
Undead Unguent
Undead unguent
Found only in QFG I, this salve protects the user from the ghosts in the grave yard and is used only in the quest given to you by Baba Yaga.
Dispel Potion 1Dispel Potion 2
Dispel potion
And last, but most certainly not least, the famous dispel potion. Used in each of the QFG games except for 4 and 5, the hero must always find the ingredients that are needed to make it. Some how, these ingredients are always different. To find out how to get the dispel potion ingredients in one of the QFG games, go to the astrologer.
