State of the Union or Solidarity

Young woman
small town
lonely in the night
undresses before the window
making lewd gestures.
The men watch
and say nothing.
The women come
and confront the mother.
Young woman
runs away.
Middleaged mother
lonely in the night
undresses before the window
making lewd gestures.
The men watch
and say nothing.
The women come
and take her away.
In the asylum
lonely in the night
she undresses in the hall
making lewd gestures.
The attendants fuck her
then report her to the doctor.
The daughter returns
and takes her away.
Together they move
to a new town
rent a house
with a picture window.
Lonely in the night
they undress before the window
side by side
making lewd gestures.
