Lone Prairie performs Vintage Western Music in the style of the great groups of the Thirties and Forties, such as the legendary Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry & Roy Rogers. Lone Prairie has been featured at events through out the west. They have performed at many Cowboy Poetry and Music Gatherings, Such as the Arizona Cowboy Poetry Festival in Prescott, Arizona,

  • Elko Nevada's Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Lone Prairie was proud to be recently nominated by the Western Music Association in the category "Song of the Year" for "Desert Flower". The Academy of Western Artists awarded Lone Prairie with two nominations. One for "Song of the Year" for "Desert Flower", the other for "Album of the Year". Lone Prairie has shared the stage with Bonnie Raitt, David Crosby, Jackson Brown, but the moment that stands out, is singing "Happy Trails to You" with the King of the Cowboys himself, Roy Rogers.
