The Philadelphia Branch (No. 41) meets monthly — September-June (we break in July and August). The only deviations from the norm are in February, when we celebrate Dickens's birthday (this year on February 7) and in June, when we have an Outing (both events at different places each year).

Our regular meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month at the Dark Horse Pub (the former Dickens Inn) located at colonial Head House Square on 2nd Street between Pine and Lombard in Old City Philadelphia. No reservation is required. Lunch is optional and can be ordered, starting at noon. The meeting begins at 1:30 pm.

If you would like to join the Philadelphia branch of The Dickens Fellowship the yearly membership fee is $20.00. Contact us at pvinci5432 [at] aol [dot] com for more information.

The membership fee includes free admission to all meetings and a copy of our monthly Buzfuz Bulletin which tells you the latest on Dickens and what is happening within our group.

Our season opens on Saturday, September 19, with Little Dorrit as the book of study and discussion.

If you join now, you'll receive the Welcome Kit in the mail and your name will
be put on our mailing list.

Thanks for your inquiry.

Yours in fellowship ~
