I have been drawing since I was eight. The focus of my education was art. But, photography is in my DNA. My maternal grandfather came to this country to learn photoengraving and to print photographs on paper. My paternal uncle took pictures and developed film from an early age. Every moment of my life was photographed. Photography has been the air I breathe. Now it is a vital part of my tool box.

I‘ve always loved the freedom of drawing and painting and the magic of photography. Digital Art for me has been a logical next step. That step however lacked the hand of the maker. Using a printing press to take the work to yet another step seems to be the a good solution. My work is about inner landscapes. The center of my images is myth and magic. My camera is the brush I paint with. I photograph; I scan, I print. I combine media. I make books and constructions.
