On May 2, with about 200 Felton residents in the audience, the Santa Cruz Public Libraries board voted unanimously to keep the Felton branch of the County-city library system open, at least for now. While different Board members see the decision as having somewhat varying meanings, there is virtually no question that the small branch tucked into the former Felton Presbyterian church will stay open next year.
