This means that the plans themselves are almost finished, but need to be put into a form to submit to the State Architect. SLE - According to the timeline, planning should begin. The current thought is to have six new classrooms on one level - two rows of three with a corridor between them that could be covered with a canopy. They would be where the three new portable classrooms are currently, near the cafeteria. This was discussed, as it is a deviation from the original plan. Discussion also took place as to when would be the best time to decide about the money put aside for the Quail Hollow renovation. People felt comfortable with revisiting this issue in the spring. The bid window for both elementary school projects will be in the spring, with construction to take place between June 2005 and August 2006. Open Meeting was adjourned at around ??.
