Obtain a variety of high-quality PLAIN chocolate bars. Proceed as for The Two Chloés: plain chocolate bars taste test.

The Two Chloés are:

C2: Chloé Deux, i.e. Chloé D'Ark.
C3: Chloé Trois, i.e. Chloé-Eloise: "The best thing about these bars is the brand name".

The Two Chloés' Zotter chocolate bars.

Zotters were purchased March 1, 2007 at Fog City News, San Francisco. 70% chocolate unless stated otherwise.

Zotter Apple and Olives. Very pretty with orange layer on top of pale brown inside very dark shell. Tangy attack at back of throat. Prefer Zotter Coffee-Plum-Bacon-Cardamom. and Zotter Sour Cherry and Poppy Seed. Very unpleasant; i spit it out after chewing a bit.

Zotter Sour Cherry and Poppy Seed. Excellent truffle bar. My favorite Zotter. Love the way the chocolate taste pushes into the cheeks. Apparently C2 declined to give C3 a sample of this one!

Zotter Coffee (15%)/Plum (11%)/Caramelized Bacon (2.5%). Cardamom spice. I like cardamom a lot, and so (though I usually dislike coffee-flavored chocolate), this was pretty good. Finish has plum and coffee. Quite sweet. Almost too much non-chocolate. Good. However, prefer Zotter Sour Cherry and Poppy Seed. Very unpleasant; i spit it out after chewing a bit.

Zotter Lemon/Poppyseed Ok; good not great. Mildly yuck, but i didn't spit it out.

Zotter Tomato/Olive Oil. Um, not so good. Really really horrible, i spit it out immediately.
