The Fighter

Weapon Shop

The fighter is the buff, tough sword swinging hero. Quite probably having the most basic personality of the characters, the fighter speaks with the tip of his sword. His philosophy - If a big ugly thing is trying to kill you, smash it to bits and tell the locals it was 20 feet tall. Personally the fighter isn't my favorite character because you don't get to do most of the more fun stuff, though the warrior initiation in QFG 3 was pretty cool. Though the wizard can become one, the fighter has the best shot at becoming a paladin.

You might wanna take a look at the guild hall to learn how to become a paladin. As the name would imply, fighters spend most of their time fighting, so you should always be prepared. Did you know that the Mordavian warthog can sneeze its terribly poisonous snot on to unexpecting heroes from up to 50 feet away? That small fact could mean the difference between a fighter's life and death. A bottle of poison cure pills would be priceless in such a situation, so it would be good to visit the apothecary as well.

Sword
The sword - a fighter's best friend. Anyone or anything that gets in the way of the fighter quickly finds this leveled at his throat. Unfortunately, the average fighter doesn't have half the intelligence required to spell it. Sord? Soard?

Armor
A hero's gotta have some type of protection against those bites and slashes that slip passed his guard and his armor should be properly made to serve that need. Though the normal fighter graduating from the Famous Adventurers' Correspondence School begins with leather armor, he is usually strong enough to carry chain armor. After fighting a few monsters, he can gain enough money to buy it too.
