taken in Big Basin and
Henry Cowell State Parks
The San
Lorenzo Valley is a small community in the Santa Cruz Mountains of
California. I
live in the town of Ben Lomond, located in the center of "The Valley".
To the north is the
town of Boulder Creek, the gateway to Big Basin State Park and
to the south is the town of Felton, home of Henry Cowell State Park.
The slide show above gives you a brief glimpse at these two beautiful
Redwood forests.
We moved to the San Lorenzo Valley in 1980, and it is home. It's always
fun to get away
for a few days, but something feels so right when we come back to the
big trees. And just
a 20 minute drive brings me to the ocean. The best of both worlds!
