School Closure Committee - How was It Formed?

The School Closure Committee was composed of the following:

- 7 parents of children currently being educated in SLVUSD schools (one from each school, including the charter)

- 4 teachers and 3 members of the union for classified employees (SEIU), representing all the schools (except the charter?)

- 2 community members not connected with the schools

- 1 administrator

Each school conducted a process to select each committee member, which included applications and interviews.
